Rumor control from U2.com: U2 will not be opening up rehearsals in
Toronto to benefit Hurricane Katrina relief efforts, but the band will
be involved in two charity concerts this weekend.

First up is Shelter From the Storm: A Concert for the Gulf Coast which
will air on all six major broadcast networks in the U.S. from 8-9 pm
Friday. The special is only slated to last an hour, but there are
currently more than a dozen musical performances planned, not to
mention other celebrity appearances. This is also expected to air in
about 100 countries around the globe, so check local listings.

Then on Saturday, U2 will be a part of React Now, a 3-hour relief
concert put on by MTV/VH-1. This is scheduled for 8-11 pm ET/PT.
